This is my first spring as a dad and I have learned that things pop up continuously. Unfortunately some of these monumental life moments (as well as some rather mundane events) have interfered with lacrosse in ways that I could not have anticipated. The Central Iowa Lacrosse Association has renewed its focus on growing the game. A major component of this focus is an emphasis on youth lacrosse. After a small pilot program last summer, the Central Iowa Lacrosse Association is partnering with the Walnut Creek YMCA in Windsor Heights, IA to expand the youth program.
