Thursday night the 2012 Central Iowa Lacrosse Association Box Lacrosse League wrapped up the first round of games.
Sadly I had a household emergency that prevented me from going. Let’s just say that when you own a house, you begin to learn that building codes are not always closely adhered to when do-it-yourselfers decide to renovate. And sometimes those decisions really leave you scratching your head and thanking God that neither your dog nor yourself received a shock when the cable connecting the garage to the house was severed by her tie out stake. And when that happens, you also thank God that you were an electrician once upon a time. Hypothetically speaking.
I am trying to track down the scores and hope to have them in this week’s prediction post.
Each team has now had a chance to take measure of their opponents. The big questions going forward will center on how well the first third of the season predicts the remaining games. Can the Cyclones hang on to the top spot or will somebody finally topple them? Will Singha claw their way out of the basement? With six games and two holiday breaks in front of each team, it seems like anything is possible…
