The Central Iowa Lacrosse Association has renewed its focus on growing the game. A major component of this focus is an emphasis on youth lacrosse. After a small pilot program last summer, the Central Iowa Lacrosse Association is partnering with the Walnut Creek YMCA in Windsor Heights, IA to expand the youth program. The generous equipment donation from West Genesee ensures that we will be able to outfit all of our boys with the proper equipment this summer. The YMCA will assist us with providing necessary eye protection for the girls, as well as handling the registration process.
Without further ado, here is the copy from the official 2012 Youth Lacrosse Program flier, sponsored by the Central Iowa Lacrosse Association and the Walnut Creek YMCA:
We’ll help your child have fun and learn America’s oldest sport in our new lacrosse league. We will focus on teaching your child the skills and fundamentals of the game, as well as bringing team work and character building through friendly competition. Your son or daughter will get equal playing time and opportunities in 8 weeks of practices and games.
