University of Dubuque

The University of Dubuque in northeastern Iowa is adding men’s lacrosse for the 2013 season.  Although no official announcement has been made, the school is advertising for the head coaching job.   The Spartans have already announced their women’s team, which will begin playing in 2013 and join the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference. The  Central Iowa Lacrosse Association’s 2011 Box Lacrosse League is scheduled to start playing in just two weeks!  October 27 will see teams take the floor at the Soccer House for the third consecutive year.  The league features local laxers of mixed experience levels competing in the fastest game on two feet.  Registration is currently open, but will close one week from today.
