For the first time in team history, the Valley Tigers are making a second fall ball trip.  With four games under their belt already, the Tigers will head to Omaha to face two more Nebraska High School Lacrosse League opponents on Sunday, November 4.  These games present an opportunity for a few players that missed out on the Lincoln trip and an extra opportunity for new players before the team takes its winter break.

Leaving West Des Moines around 9:00 8:00 am, Valley will play Millard West at noon 11:00.  Tigers fans will recognize Millard West as the team that crushed the team’s championship hopes this spring in the state semifinals.  After defeating Millard West in every league game since moving to the varsity level in 2010, and twice in 2012, the Tigers lost momentum and failed to recover at home on May 19.

Valley’s second game will be against long time rival Creighton Prep at 3:30 pm following the Millard West game.  After failing to get past Prep in 2010 and 2011, the Tigers went undefeated against the Jays this season.

Both games will be Creighton Prep high school in Omaha.

Edit 11/2/2012 2:40 pm: The games have been moved to Russell Middle School  ( 5304 South 172nd Street, Omaha, NE 68135) due to a schedule conflict at Prep.  The Millard West game has been bumped up to 11:00 am with the Prep game following.
